Star Ocean developer tri-Ace contributed to Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIII-2 with game design, programming, artwork and other duties, revealed tri-Ace producer Yichiro Kitao.
The RPG studio created Infinite Undiscovery in 2008, Star Ocean: The Last Hope in 2009 and Resonance of Fate last year. They’ve got a strong relationship with Square Enix.
In fact the house that built Final Fantasy has published a number of tri-Ace’s titles. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is now available on Xbox 360 and PS3 in Japan, releasing to Europe in February.
