The Last Guardian coming October 7?

Some videogame retail chains have started advertising an October 7 release date for The Last Guardian. Tesco, ASDA, The Hut, Zavvi and Woolworths all say the Team ICO-developed title will be landing on that Friday. Other chains like GAME, Play, Amazon and HMV have yet to post that date on their sites.

Sony had originally targeted ”Late 2011” as the release date, and often stores have placeholder dates for major titles that have yet to have gotten a solid date.

However, the timing is interesting in that Sony will be holding a PlayStation Meeting event tomorrow in Japan - could shops have leaked an actual date?
