Inafune-san will instead focus on getting something ready for this year’s Tokyo Game Show instead, announcing a new project from one of his new ventures.
”For E3, it’s a bit too early. The company was just created a few months ago, so I don’t think we’re going to have anything to show and I personally won’t attend because people are busy at E3, so to actually get the time to sit down and talk and do the business you need to do, a lot of times you can’t,” said Keiji Inafune, founder of Comcept and Intercept.
”For Tokyo Game Show, yeah, there’s something I’d like to be able to show at TGS if we can get it out in time and that’s kind of the goal. There’s no promises on that, but as far as participating in TGS, of course I will be there,” he continued.
Inafune-san left Capcom last October and announced only last month two new development companies in Japan as Comcept and Intercept. Rumour has him and his new teams working on a PS3 RPG as well as a social title of some kind.
