Keep your FFXIII saves for FFXIII-2 say Square, 'plan to surprise'

The Final Fantasy XIII-2 team is looking into how they could reward players of the first title, so it’s best you keep a tight clutch on that save game file.

What exactly they’re thinking of doing is unknown, possibly even still to them at the moment. Just keep that save data in place and erm, ‘look surprised’.

FFXIII-2 is a much darker tale than the original reveal Yoshinori Kitase and Motomu Toriyama in an interview with Famitsu. It will have an evolved battle system, new characters, and a whole new story but also answer most questions the fans had.
