Bethesda has officially announced that the previously rumored Rage downloadable content “The Scorchers” will be released next week on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for 400 Microsoft Points ($5 USD).
As rumored, the DLC will feature six all-new areas, new allies, and a new enemie in the form of a maniacal bandit clan known as The Scorchers. There will also be a new season of Mutant Bash TV, new mini-games, and a new weapon, the Nailgun.
The DLC will also feature the Ultra-Nightmare difficulty level, as well as an ‘Extended Play’ option that allows players to play past the original ending of the game, allowing them to collect items and achievements.
