4A Takes Us Back To Cold Russia With Oculus Exclusive Arktika.1

With the release of the Oculus Touch controllers finally on the horizon, those big-budget developers not willing to jump on-board the HTC Vive train are starting to trickle news of their Oculus Rift titles now that the competitor's controllers are finally nearing release. 4A Games, being the next to join the line, recently announced Arktika.1, a title the Metro 2033 studio describes as a 'Big, atmospheric shooter'. As a 'full-blown AAA title, the developers are using the lessons learned by creating one of the last generation's favorite atmospheric FPS titles to craft a VR shooter worthy of their own name.

Under the cold claws of a new ice age, Arktika.1 sees you protecting a colony against ever-approaching threats looking to claim resources from around an otherwise baron land. A post-apocalyptic Russia just seems to be what 4A Games loves most. It's penned in for a Q2 2017 launch solely for the Oculus Rift + Oculus Touch combo.
