Team17 is turning to The Escapists 2 as their second GDC reveal trailer of the day. It's all about the twos, here. If you happened to play the original version of The Escapists, the prison featured in the new 'Welcome to Center Perks' trailer will likely stand out. For the rest of us, however, it's all new.

The trailer sets out to feature a familiar landscape in an effort to showcase the sequel's spruced-up graphical style. beyond that, there's a multitude of new items to craft and a slew of new customisation features when it comes to picking and choosing the people who'll roam the screen. Though it's difficult to work out how drop-in/drop-out multiplayer gaming works in a title about plotting a great prison escape, you'll just have to unlearn the important lesson of never leaving another man behind and just go on without them if people are dropping in and out when things get a little rough.
