Those looking to get the drop on unsuspecting Conan Exiles players can do so by using a screenshot feature built directly into the game. Shedding light on the simple exploit, Reddit user Seldain linked a YouTube video from the channel 'B.A.D' which quickly demonstrates how an after-thought in Funcom's design allows a build-in feature to be used as a scouting tool in multiplayer sessions.

Likely thrown in as a quick little extra for Nvidia players, it seems as if Funcom didn't account for how the feature could be used to give players an advantage in multiplayer scenarios. In a game all about survival, the inclusion of Ansel means players can undock their camera and scout the entire map for enemies or to safely identify a weakspot in another player's defences. Despite the official Ansel website clearing offering developers to limit its features in multiplayer games, Funcom seemingly threw caution to the wind and added it without much thought. Quickly replying through the Reddit post, Funcom's community manager assured players the issue was being looked into with plans to reduce the camera range to 2m and removing the NoClip function. That's a patch that can't come soon enough.
