As with any proposed trilogy, the second entry is designed to solidify the ideas of the first while fixes the mistakes of what came before. For Creative Assembly, they're ready to start talking about how the pre and post-release content will work with Total War: Warhammer II. Starting off the blog post by, yet again, reassuring historical Total War fans that they've not abandoned their roots, they go on to outline how 'important' pre-orders are and how they're ensuring nobody is left without content no matter when they decide to pick up the next game.
The Dark Elves Of Naggaroth Deliver Swift Destruction In This New In-Engine Total War: Warhammer II Trailer
Taking on player feedback for DLC this time around, Creative Assembly are ditching the mini-campaigns offered through Total War: Warhammer's expansion packs, and are instead re-focusing the resources to ensure each DLC's new race has more "larger rosters" instead; meaning you're looking at 4 Legendary Lords per expansion pack. And they're available in both the Eye of the Vortex campaign and the combined map for owners of Total War: Warhammer. Details on the aforementioned DLC is still a tightly kept secret right now, but they're coming soon. This week, in fact. While we won't see all of it in one go, the blog post made special mention of the Early Adopter bonses being revealed in the coming days. We'll update you then.
