With the Steel Division: Normandy 44 VIP Beta now closed, it's time to start learning more of what those with access got to try out over the last week. The most promising new reveal? Dynamic Front Line. Now featured on the Eugen Systems website as the first in a proposed series of gameplay articles comes the system designed to give live feedback of the battles you've faced thus far to give a clear indicator of how each side is dealing with another.
Paradox Interactive Will Stream An Extended Look At Steel Division: Normandy 44 Today
Though the live overlay will chance accord to the fights at hand, there's a good few enemy units who won't be properly affected by its blue aura. Paratroopers, aircraft and recon units are all designed to deny the tells of this system meaning even though it's a key tool in keeping up with most ground-based warfare, it isn't the only thing you'll be keeping track of. Fought the good fight? Individual inits can surrender if their suppression gauge is maxed or there's nobody in a decent range available to help them as you close in. The original post is much more bountiful over on th Eugen Systems webpage, but we've giving a quick explanation over here for those either not already sold on the game or unable to throw time into a bigger read. There's a gameplay stream coming later today. Catch it on Twitch at 17:30CET
