If you're into rouge-likes, you've probably come across one that you're just unable to see the end of. For many, the 15+ endings for The Binding of Isaac fit the bill, but those moving forward have found a new curse in Darkest Dungeon. Though the latest update might just ease off on the punishment.
We're getting close to 2 years of release for the popular - increasingly difficult - rogue-like Darkest Dungeon. Not 2 years of a solid release, but two years of release when you combine its Early Access efforts beforehand. And in that time, Red Hook Studios has managed to shift 1 million copies of their crowdfunded hit. So what's coming in the future? Quite a lot, actually.
Darkest Dungeon, the game in which every single one of your intrepid band of grimdark adventurers can contract syphilis and then get eaten by an undead pig, will release in full next January.
Red Hook's charmingly grimy tactical combat game has beensince this February, and has since received a sackful of additional content, some aspects of which have turned out to be more popular
