Darksiders, Darksiders II, and Steep round off the first year of free Epic Games Store titles.
With Darksiders: Warmaster edition hitting a slight delay, THQ Nordic certainly hasn't taken it to heart. The company today announced the closing of a deal to transfer the rights of several classic IPs to their library.
Sure, when THQ shut down in 2013, it meant the end of a lot of really terrible licensed games, but it also meant the end of a publisher that brought us some truly excellent original titles ranging from Saints Row to Darksiders. Many of the Toy Headquarters’ franchises ended up with a small Austrian publisher called Nordic Games, and now they’re rebranding to reflect that legacy.
