- The Lift Release Date: 2027
The Lift Gameplay
The Lift: Supernatural Handyman Simulator revolves around restoring The Institute, formerly humanity’s most advanced research facility, to its former glory.
Each floor “is a massive renovation project with unique challenges,” that we can approach at our own pace.
We’ll perform basic furniture repairs, complex electrical engineering projects, and more, while relying on different gadgets and our own crafting abilities to see the job done.
The titular Lift acts as a mobile base, while The Institute itself features “multiple biomes, hidden areas, [and] unforgettable characters.” The latter offer quests that help us make sense of what happened before our arrival.
Aesthetically, the title is inspired by Soviet-era sci-fi and the SCP Foundation.
We’ll also “build circuits with multiple components, identify fault currents, route cables, manage power supply, and generate torque to repair each system.”
The Lift Story
The Lift’s “mind-bending” story revolves around uncovering The Institute’s dark secrets and piecing together what caused the “catastrophic incident [that] left it drifting through the void, plagued by cosmic decay and slowly fading into oblivion.”
