Not that long ago the Diablo community was practically rioting over a US magazines selective choice of words, well here we go again.
This time it’s the German PC Action which is causing a ruckus over at the DiabloFans Forums, to which some have admitted their ”just picking straws”.
So what exactly has set the masses in a flurry? Hell and Cow. That’s right those two words have set the rumour-mill ablaze once more as hell is of course Diablo related, and the cow fans are linking to the Cow King level which was an Easter egg in Diablo II.
The ‘riddle’ as it has been dubbed goes like this (in German):
Translated into English by ‘ov3erlord’:
”30.05.2008 10:55 - We found out some secret information about a much awaited game, from a very well known game developer, whom we can’t name. Sounds extremely important, doesn’t it? Let’s say: Pure thought about it makes our bedsheets wet. Got any ideas? Post them in the comments. Even if the hell froze and cows gave beer - we would spill nothig out!
pcaction.de thinks: HAHA! we have seen the pictures and you have not! – Source: PCAction”
While I’m looking forward to the portal opening which links to a parallel universe where Blizzard have announced Diablo III as much as the next guy - I think it’s best a strong icy chill –a blizzard if you will– comes along and cools down the rumour-mill again.
Nothing to see here folks, move along.
