During an interview with MTV Multiplayer, BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk said that regarding ”other post-release content” the team is looking into it.
He noted that the studio is ”pretty busy these days.” Mass Effect’s first DLC was ‘Bring Down The Sky’, an optional side quest that sadly didn’t meet much fanfare.
The DLC was released to PC gamers for free and only recently went live for the platform, accompanied by a patch.
”We’re also looking at some other post-release content,” spills Zeschuk. ”We’re working away. BioWare’s pretty busy these days.”
When asked directly on some new DLC goodness he replied that they’re ”talking about that. You know how we are.”
”We’re always very circumspect until we can go ‘Aha! There it is!’ With everything we build now, we want to have this long-term relationship with the customer and always have something for them to try. So we’re definitely looking at that for Mass Effect.”
Dragon Age: Origins will definitely be eating away at the studios free time, which so far is set as a PC exclusive. The second instalment to Mass Effect will be on the schedule too as BioWare have previously promised to flesh out the franchise into a trilogy.
