Following a Game Informer report on the NEOGaf forums, new screenshots and details have emerged for the new Wolfenstein game.
The sequel to the well known franchise will be set in WWII, with the Nazis as your principle enemy. You’ll be able to utilise a selection of guns and supernatural powers as weapons.
You will apparently be placed in a non-linear open city environment, with new areas of the city opening up as you complete various missions objectives.
Gamers will also encounter randomly-triggered events that can alter parts of the city, blocking off paths and presumably forcing you to find alternative routes.
To make things even more interesting, you’ll apparently be able to enter an alternate-reality version of the city called The Shroud, from where the Nazis are drawing their power.
The game should be appearing at this year’s E3.
