Despite repeated statements that Metal Gear Solid 4 won’t be expanding platforms and that the game is a PS3 exclusive… something’s changed recently.
Apparently the ”worldwide demand” for a 360 MGS4 has reached such a height it’s got Konami’s interest peaked. Yoshitaka Arai admits they’re curious at the idea.
”The worldwide demand for an Xbox 360 version is quite high, and it is something we are currently looking in to,” Arai tells Japanese site MorningStar, reports Kotaku.
Back in January, Konami bluntly made their position on the matter quite clear: ”For the record, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a PlayStation 3 exclusive and there are no plans to develop an Xbox 360 version of the game.” Are the winds of change blowing?
