For those who attended the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational in ‘07 or this year and were given a serial number, you’ve been entered into the beta test for WoW’s second expansion.
The news broke when Blizzard posted on the official community forums and said if you do have one of these codes they ”urge you to register it immediately and without delay.”
”We have some information to share regarding the beta codes received by those who attended the 2008 Worldwide Invitational or the 2007 BlizzCon. These codes are going to be used for the Wrath of the Lich King beta test,” read Wryxian’s post, a Blizzard lackey.
”If you do have a beta code from one of these events, we urge you to register it immediately and without delay. Full details on how to register your code can be found at the following page:”

For gamers who couldn’t make it to either of the BlizzCons - don’t worry you’ve still got a shot to get in the beta if you opt-in through the accounts page. Players will be randomly selected to participate in the beta.
