The publishing giant has issued a tool for use with EA titles like Burnout Paradise, Mass Effect and Mirror’s Edge that use install limit DRM.
Now accidentally nuking your hard drive, or otherwise forking over hard earned dosh on new hardware upgrades won’t set you back a ‘permitted’ installation. DRM’s grip slowly loosening at EA.
The Sims executive producer Rod Humble has already confirmed to fans that the latest iteration will include no DRM, only the old skool serial key. They’ve released a full list of games supported by the EA Game Authorization Management Tools:
