It’s finally with us since Sony announced the host of new shiny features coming to our PlayStation 3s around the globe. Firmware 3.0 is live and waiting for you.
What does it add? Well it’s got dynamic themes, which is fancy talk for ‘things move in background’, and other stuff like shortcuts to the PlayStation Store. Better Trophy listing too!
”The latest update incorporates changes that improve navigation on your PS3. First, you’ll notice some cosmetic changes to the design of the XMB (Xross Media Bar),” posted PSN director Eric Lempel on the US PlayStation.Blog, back on August 18th.
”We’ve enhanced the look and feel of the XMB so that it’s easier and even more intuitive to use. We’ve also added network improvements and personalization options to help enhance your PS3 experience.” Check out the clip below with Lempel for what’s new with 3.0.
