Which is handy because John Milius, who wrote Red Dawn, is helping Kaos. It’ll have ”cliff-hangers” leading into DLC and Homefront 2.
”This is about a guy moving some fuel,” said Danny Bilson, reports GameSpot. ”That’s what the single-player is about, to restart some vehicles and retake the Golden Gate Bridge.”
”It’s the beginning of a story. We’re going to tell this like a serial, with cliff-hangers. And then we intend to continue the story in” DLC he continued, ”until we go to Homefront 2.”
”This is one of our big bets, I’ll be honest,” THQ’s Bilson admitted to investors. ”People say, ‘Why are you going into this Call of Duty space?’ And it’s because I know we can compete. I know we can compete.” First EA want at Activision and now THQ - tag team?
It’s due out for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC but doesn’t have a release date yet. Modern Warfare 2 already had a touch of Red Dawn as Russian troops poured on to US soil. Let’s hope Kaos can land a far greater impact with Homefront than Frontlines.
