Developer Bungie don’t have ”an actual firm date” for Halo: Reach yet but do confirm a beta to run sometime between Halo 3: ODST and release.
Fans ”will need” a copy of ODST to gain entry into Reach’s beta program when it goes live, which is anytime after this September 22nd. It explores the fall of the first human colony.
”We don’t have an actual firm date for it yet, but I don’t anticipate it being day and date with the game,” a Bungie dev told GameSpot.
”I can say you will need the Halo 3: ODST disc to access the beta when it does become available. I can confirm that that beta will go live sometime between the release of Halo 3: ODST on September 22nd and the release of Halo: Reach next fall.”
Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg has described the new title as the next ”big Halo game.” See the trailer below for the Halo: Reach E3 teaser.
