Publisher EA has revealed they plan to "revitalize blockbusters" that haven't been going anywhere, much like Need for Speed's new life.
EA Games' Frank Gibeau announced this plan to investors, but didn't provide any specifics as to what they've got up their sleeves in terms of this "revitalization" project. Need for Speed was just the beginning for EA in injecting new life into franchises.
It's been a success said Gibeau and they'll be extending it to other "core IPs". Apparently we'll likely hear something more about all this in 2010 sometime, reports .
