Sega and developer Sports Interactive confirm the new Football Manager will be releasing on October 30th, on both PC and PSP. It’s a new improved beast say devs.
They’ve worked ”very hard” to incorporate fan feedback to hit areas that ”needed re-working”, and also adds some extra muscle elsewhere. The team is ”very confident” with it.
”We have worked very hard with the Football Manager community to target not only the areas of the game that needed re-working but also what we could add to improve what’s already there,” said Sports Interactive’s Miles Jacobson.
”We’ve also conducted extensive usability studies which has led us to overhaul the whole presentation of the game, which we’re really excited about.”
”There has been a lot of polish to existing areas of the game but it’s also driven us to introduce changes to answer some of the feedback. We’re very confident that having done that we will deliver the very best Football Manager to date in October.”
Football Manager 2010 has been spruced up to meet the demands of today’s amateur professional football managers, i.e. you. Greater feedback from matches is promised to help you understand where your squad is going wrong and right.
The UI has been redesigned for better navigation, the 3D Match view is still in and has been given a fine tweaking with improved AI, tons more animations and better environments. More info is likely to spill from Sega and Sports Interactive in the weeks ahead.
