Microsoft Europe's Graeme Boyd, Xbox community manager, has confirmed that Xbox 360 gamers will be able to view TV programmes from Sky this month through the console.
The Sky service lets users watch an array of content live or on-demand, with the full channel-list and pricing being made available "at launch." No HD streaming or content recording allowed.
"October 27 - that's the date when you'll be able to watch TV from Sky on your Xbox 360," said Microsoft's Boyd, reports . The service from Sky was announced back in May.
Movies, documentaries, entertainment shows as well as kids, music, sports and the arts will be on tap for Xbox 360 users but these won't be delivered in high definition, or recordable.
