Analyst Anthony Gikas of Piper Jaffray has said he expects Rockstar Games to be padding Take-Two’s coffers even more when Grand Theft Auto V hits sometime after October 2011.
He noted GTA V is ”expected in FY ‘11,” which is Take-Two’s fiscal year 2011. That begins when FY ‘10 ends on October 31st, 2011. So, any time during those proceeding 12 months.
Don’t you just love all this calendar and fiscal year talk? ”Our confidence in the company’s profitability profile is improving as product flow for FY 2010 is greatly improved and Grand Theft Auto V is expected in FY ‘11,” said Gikas, reports VG247.
”Assuming no change to product flow, we expect the company will have 10-plus games that will sell over one million units.” Take-Two is currently enjoying its Q4 FY ‘09 - so there’s a wait.
