Speaking at the premiere of Assassin's Creed: Lineage in London, Ubisoft Montreal CEO Yannis Mallat teased that there's "hope" Splinter Cell: Conviction could reach PS3.
Currently the latest upcoming instalment of Sam Fisher is due only for Xbox 360 and PC. Mallat says it's "good to hear" those that can't play, want to. Conviction releases February 2010.
"There is always hope," Ubi boss Mallet tells VideoGamer.com, who asked if PS3 gamers would ever get their Sam Fisher fix again. While not a definitive yes by any measure, it could happen.
"I can't predict the future. But it's good to hear that people who can't play Splinter Cell are willing to," he added. Do you 'hope' Ubi works Splinter Cell back onto the PlayStation?
Splinter Cell: Conviction is being released on Xbox 360 and PC February 24th, 2010.
