Kathy Vrabeck, former EA casual division chief, has apparently made plans to re-enter the videogames industry as Legendary’s own games boss.
Her departure from EA was sudden and was said to have been for ”personal reasons”. California’s Legendary Pictures is rumoured to be wooing developer Epic Games.
While her position within Legendary isn’t known she’s likely to take a top spot, which could even be to spearhead the company’s entire push into the games market. Legendary’s chairman Thomas Tull was the co-founder of the now defunct Brash Entertainment.
The question is will Legendary jump into development or just finance studios as a publisher?
