According to the Korean Game Rating Board, Sega’s air battler ‘After Burner Climax’ will be heading to the PlayStation Network in the future.
Currently it’s an arcade game. The OFLC also lists After Burner Climax but as a multiplatform affair, meaning it could see XBLA.
”After Burner Climax is a perfect fit for a downloadable game - though it feel like it’s missing something without the giant cabinet attached to it,” reports GamerBytes. Sega America has been asked for words but a flat out ”no comment” is all they said.
It’s very likely that Sega want to splash this arcade experience on both, but may just settle for the PlayStation 3 in South Korea? Back in April they released OutRun Online Arcade for both XBLA and PSN, and we’ve given it a spin in the name of retro.
