Producer Jun Takeuchi unveiled their demo plans at Captivate 09, were he added that playable demos for Lost Planet ”really helped” sell the game to fans.
Hoping to repeat that magic, Lost Planet 2’s demo is expected around the time E3 kicks off at the beginning of June, that’s what Capcom’s ”thinking.” So far it would appear the sequel is exclusive to Xbox 360.
”One of things that really helped Lost Planet 1 were the downloadable demos that were available for users to play. We’re hoping to have a demo available for regular users to play round about E3 time. That’s what we’re thinking,” Takeuchi-san spilled at the showcase, he was also Resident Evil 5’s producer.
While Capcom haven’t stated Lost Planet 2 is an exclusive title for the Xbox 360, they haven’t mentioned any other platforms; this could just mean it’ll have a delayed launch on the PS3.
