Since retailing in October the total number of shipped Move units has reach over 4 million, and they’re ”taking every unit we can supply” declares Sony.
The initial press releases was rather confusing as the US statement said it had ‘sold’ 4.1 million, however the Japan release said it was ”the quantity delivered to the dealer”. Sony has now clarified exactly what it meant - how many sold to the retailers.
”While we don’t disclose our exact sell-through number, the key is that our retailers continue to ask for more Move units and are taking every unit we can supply them with based on their sales,” said a company representative. You’re a sly one aren’t you Sony?
