Developer Valve updated Portal with seemingly little change, until avid fans ripped apart the code to find many a teasing trail left by the studio.
It seems that evil antagonist GlaDOS from Portal is v3.11, which coincidentally matches March 11th, when boss Gabe Newell is at the GDC.
The plot thickens… but only a little. Valve’s Newell will be receiving his Pioneer Award at next week’s Games Developer Conference in San Franciso March 11th, which is when the Portal 2 news shall strike say ardent believers.
Portal game code is also said to contain the very first Portal 2 artwork as fans continue to pillage the secrets hidden by Valve developers with the latest PC patch. Would a Portal sequel slap a grin on your videogamer chops?
