Rumour-mill: LucasArts to reveal Monkey Island 2 Special Edition?

PC adventure veterans LucasArts are allegedly going to announce a Special Edition of Monkey Island 2 shortly, perhaps even at the GDC.

Much like the original’s re-release, it would sport all-new slick visuals and better audio. It will be heading for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and iPhone.

This is all rumour from sources, reports Kotaku, but if such a project were underway then this week’s GDC would be the near perfect time to come and unveil it. Have you got a hold of LucasArts’ HD remake of Monkey Island yet?
