Much like the first’s Special Edition, Monkey Island 2 will have all-new visuals, audio and voice-overs added. It’s for XBLA, PSN, PC and iPhone.
The PlayStation 3 is still yet to receive The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition but the studio says it will appear in ”a few weeks” time, reports Eurogamer. The Secret of Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck’s Revenge has HD visuals, remastered audio and the same voice-over actors used for the original’s makeover.
As a bonus it also packs audio commentary from Monkey Islands’ creators and the option to experience the classic style of the game. It also features a triple-tier hint system.
