CDV Software Entertainment is in danger of going under, as the Germany-based console and PC publisher files for insolvency in Frankfurt.
Blitzkrieg and the Codename Panzers were published by CDV, with Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter and Divinity 2 among their latest.
CDV had taken Southpeak Interactive to court and had recently won, with the company paying $3.1 million to CDV in December. The publisher had also released a number of budget Nintendo Wii titles.
CDV started up in 1989 and have been one of the longest running PC publishers. It’s unclear if this filing will directly affect the US subsidiary.
