It’s solo and co-op with up to 4 people giving it ”insanely fun” multiplayer, the HD port has become an ”extremely social game.” Out September.
“Multiplayer is insanely fun, you can never be quite sure whether a new player is going to help or hinder your efforts so there tends to be a lot of laughing and jeering,” said Firemint boss Rob Murray. “It’s turned Flight Control HD into an extremely social game.”
All assets for the game have been pumped up to 1080p and even support stereoscopic 3D, which means the planes and copters will appear to ”float over the landscape” if you’ve the TV. The PS3 also has an exclusive ‘Metropolis’ map with day/night cycles.
Flight Control HD releases exclusively on PS3 September 15th. It works with a standard DualShock 3 controller in case you’ve skipped over PlayStation Move.
