VG247 reports that they have it ”on good authority that Sony has named its PS3 Motion Controller “Arc”.” Sure about that? ”The information comes from a concrete source speaking under conditions of strict anonymity.” Oh, okay then.
Sony has admitted that it was called ‘Gem’ but that was just a prototype name, which EA CEO John Riccitiello blurted out last month during an event. The motion controller looks like a wand with a colourful ball on the end, used with the PSEye camera.
What does Sony have to say about this ‘Arc’ business? ”We don’t comment on rumour or speculation,” said Sony Europe. Well that shot us down, eh?
