Yep, if the list is to be believed. Fallout: New Vegas and Call of Duty 7 are also due then. Crysis 2, Guitar Hero 6 and Brink are all in September.
This is some uber spillage indeed, thanks VG247 and your loose-lipped source. Call of Duty 7 from Treyarch is believed to be set during the Vietnam war, with plenty of small bits of evidence over time backing up that prediction.
Bizarre Creations, from Project Gotham Racing fame, was set with two James Bond projects. One was action and the other a racing title, so GAME firmly believes their latter project will be out this October.
Obsidian Entertainment’s Fallout: New Vegas is scheduled for October too, which ties in with rumours recently. Brink landing September 24th though conflicts with plans of a Q3 FY11 window, which runs October 1st to December 31st.
Here’s the date list:
Band Hero 2 – October
Brink – September
Call of Duty 7 – October
Crysis 2 – September 24
Fallout: New Vegas – October
Guitar Hero 6 – September
Lego: Harry Potter: Years 1 – 4 – May 28
Singularity – June 28
The three documents are over at VG247, if you feel like giving them a once over. We all know how ‘accurate’ retailers can be when it comes to these release dates - so please take care in booking that time off work in advance, because they could be way off.
