Rumor: 3D will become official feature of 360

It seems that Microsoft will finally officially toss their hat into the 3D ring, after Sony and Nintendo each made it a key feature in their consoles, the PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo 3DS respectively.

This rumor is coming from MSXBOX-WORLD, which claims 3D will be given a space in the Dashboard options in an upcoming update. This is not new - a 3D dashboard had been rumored as early as 2008.

There have already been 3D games on the Xbox 360 already - if this rumor is true, could this mean that the 360 will support 3D movies via Marketplace?
