Each state enforces patent legislation individually, and technically LG has only succeeded in stopping PlayStation 3 entering Europe via The Netherlands.
Sony could simply arrange to have fresh shipments of the console, to which LG claim infringe on their Blu-ray playback patents, brought into the European states via another nation. LG would then need to launch a fresh suit against Sony to block the PS3.
"We are investigating the situation, but cannot comment on it at this time," comment Sony. It may be preferable to keep switching which EU state they deliver the PS3 stock through than to lose all European revenue completely. Bureaucracy is manmade hell.
