North America gets the sequel in January but Europe is left with an ”early 2012” window, which hopefully means no later than February. Time can be so cruel.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is of course the first time a Final Fantasy instalment has received a direct sequel. Final Fantasy Versus XIII meanwhile is keeping a low profile and won’t likely see a retailer shelf until after March 31st, 2012 at the earliest.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases on Xbox 360 and PS3 next year.
