Just to be sure those ones aren’t feeling all ‘Billy no mates’, Bethesda are going to release a day one patch bringing Skyrim to version 1.1. Change notes ”when the time comes.”
The huge RPG is due out around the globe this Friday and it recently went gold, but the studio kept their nose to the grind for a day one patch. Title updates come launch day are common place nowadays.
”Yup. All platforms going to 1.1 by 11/11/11”, said Bethesda community manager Nick Breckon. ”There’ll be notes when the time comes.” For now we’ll just have to wonder what Bethesda has been fixing in their grandest videogame project to date, but at least we know one thing got nipped in the bud: ever vigilant, crime reporting chickens.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this week.
