Tomasz Gop was producer for The Witcher series at CD Projekt RED but left after the sequel released for PC. Now he’s working with studio City Interactive.
Gop is involved in an RPG project that’s due out 2013 for PC and console. It’s a collaborative videogame between City, Gop and Germany-based Deck13.
When Tomasz Gop left developer CD Projekt RED they indicated he was leaving the games industry as a whole but it seems he couldn’t keep away. This report comes from Polish game site Gamikaze which actually calls it an ‘action RPG’ for 2013.
City Interactive’s most recent offering has been Sniper: Ghost Warrior, which currently has a sequel in development using Crytek’s CryEngine 3 technology.
