When Sony announced the compensatory games for the three-plus week long outage of PSN - as well as the whole identity and credit/debit card theft issue - more than a few PlayStation 3 and PSP owners were disappointed with the selections, which included old games like the first LittleBigPlanet and inFamous.
The angry voices were heard on the PlayStation US Blog, prompting SCEE's Nick Caplin to state, "I'm really sorry that there is nothing there that you want. We've tried really hard to put together a list of high quality BD games rather than simply offering cheaper PSN titles. The average Metacritic rating for these games is over 84%, so these are high quality games. Unfortunately with a user base of 77 million people, it is really hard to offer something for everyone."
What would you have accepted as proper compensation? Newer games like LittleBigPlanet 2 or Killzone 3? PlayStation Store credit? Let us know.
