The latest fiscal from SouthPeak Games shows their Q2 losses and revenue are both down from the same period in 2009. Stronghold is in their 2011.
Net revenue was at $7.5 million and losses posted at $2.1 million for Q2, which ended December 31st. SouthPeak has won back the My Baby franchise.
In their legal action against Nobilis they won the right to once again publish the My Baby series of games which have proven strangely popular. Last year’s Q2 saw revenue of $10.1 million and losses at $2.6 million.
SouthPeak noted they have ”substantial investment” in their co-publishing deal with TopWare for RPG Two Worlds II on sale in the US. It’s performance in sales however don’t enter the fiscal results just posted.
SouthPeak Games has PC strategy game Stronghold 3 due this year, as in fact it’s their only announced title. It’s releasing sometime this spring.
