2K Sports has announced in a press release that the first NBA 2K12 downloadable content, the “Legends Showcase,” will be released this holiday season on Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points and the PlayStation Network for $9.99 USD.
The Legends Showcase will allow gamers to select from more than 150 of the NBA basketball greats and have them play pickup games, including 1-on-1 and 5-on-5 games, with a special new court in New York City’s Times Square.
The DLC will also feature mini-games, such as 21 and H-O-R-S-E, along with other new features like the 2-on-2 Teammate Challenge and 3-on-3 Era Challenge. Players can also unlock current NBA players to create unique team mixes of current and all-time players, and even draft their own My Player star onto the team.
One more feature is Classic Quick Match, which will allow players to immediately have online matches with the NBA’s Greatest Teams on simulation setting.
