The first gameplay video of Phantasy Star Online 2 has been unveiled by Sega. While the trailer is blurry and in Japanese, and based on an alpha build, you can see that the basic gameplay remains relatively unchanged from the first title, though there are probably modifications and tweaks.
Producer Satoshi Sakai has already confirmed that participants for an alpha test will be chosen via drawing this summer. Gamers can register to try to win a spot by getting a special code obtained by either purchasing the first run of copies of Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity on PSP, or by playing Phantasy Star Universe and Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst.
