This is almost Ubi’s first steps into setting up a racing portfolio. This deal covers publisher Black Bean’s releases of which SBK and WRC are heavy hitters.
Midway Games’ collapse gave way to Tradewest forming but Ubisoft has usurped control of SBK and WRC in the UK. The deal actually involves Ubi delivering Italian publisher Black Bean’s catalogue which includes the two racing series.
WRC FIA World Rally Championship was released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC back in October and SBK 2011 arrives this May for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Both games are developed by Milanese developer Milestone.
