On its way to the PS3 is Level-5’s ‘Ni No Kuni’, which is out for Nintendo DS right now. Studio CEO Akihiro Hino appeared on TV to air some footage.
The game is far along and they’re trying to squeeze in more features right now. It’s coming to PS3 because they want it feeling close to a ‘movie experience’.
The DS game of ‘Ni No Kuni’ has cleared 500k copies in Japan - a healthy number. Akihiro Hino wants the PS3 version to feel as if it were a Studio Ghibli movie. The studio boss appeared on Japanese TV show ‘Top Runner’.
