Publisher Arktos Entertainment Group has reported that the zombie apocalypse MMO shooter The War Z attracted over 100,000 registrants for the closed beta in just 24 hours on the 19th July.
According to The War Z senior game designer Eric Nordin, ”We’ve been following all of the comments on the various forums as well as our Facebook page and it really validates that we’re creating something that gamers want to play. We’re going to continue working hard and make sure we deliver the best game possible!”
The publisher also announced that the official website for developer Hammpoint’s MMO was launched here. The game is due to be released in Fall 2012 on PC.
